S2E27 - Songs for Christmas & The Bells of Dublin
Happy holidays! This week on Hot Singles, it's Autumn and Niamh bearing yuletide cheer and yuletide sorrow with two Christmas-y classics! First, we talk about Autumn's pick, the sad indie smorgasbord that is Songs for Christmas by Sufjan Stevens. After that we get into some traditional Irish music with The Bells of Dublin by The Chieftains. Along the way we work through a lot of complicated feelings about Christianity from our past, and how we have embraced the season as adults. It's a good one!
Next time we will be talking about... well we don't know yet! Things are still being nailed down. Picks need to be made, schedules need to be decided on. We've got an end of year episode coming soon and a regular episode coming soon and we just need to dot our t's and cross our i's. When we know, Regs will announce it on their twitter!
In the meantime, make sure to follow Niamh on twitter @FoxmomNia, listen to faer anime podcast by going to exportaud.io/ghostdivers, and keep up with faer ongoing chronicles of what Garfield is up to by following @GarfReadAloud.
